Weather has been amazing this week, sunny everyday with temperatures around 10 degrees. My elbow is starting to feel almost normal again... about time.

I tried to change a light bulb the other day because it was burnt out, and the light switch didn't have an on/off symbol on it, so I just assumed it was off. I tried to unscrew the light bulb, but it screwed out of the bottom metal part of the bulb... so that bottom piece was stuck into the fixture... I then got some pliers to break the metal piece out... while I was standing on the kitchen table, then finally got the new light bulb in. Thank god the light switch was off... I would have electrocuted myself.

I went and did laundry two days ago, there were two sketchy women doing their laundry there as well, the one women couldn't sit still (crackhead probably), they had their dog with them in the room and the laundromat owner wasn't too happy about that... then this man wearing all leather (pants included) comes running in trying to find one of them, starts swearing at the top of his lungs and tells the one women if she comes to his corner again he'll beat the **** out of her... they exchanged some nice words and he left after calling her a f'in crackhead. I'm just sitting there reading the newspaper waiting for my clothes to dry and that happened, I found it funny. Now we finally have clean towels, I washed all like 20 of them.

Yesterday morning me and TJ went down Hastings to look for this bakery he had been to before. We found it and we bought some fresh bread. Then he got a donair at the place on the corner. Pretty sure it was called Mr. Donair... super friendly owner. It's on the corner of Nanaimo and Hastings if you wanna go or something. Then we walked down the road a little and found this meat place, so we got some nice freshly sliced meat for our bread. Sandwich time. We then went home and I left shortly after to meet up with Jordan Repin in New Westminister to shoot some photos. We got 3 photos and I'll put them up randomly instead of all at once. When we were at the first spot this random white van rolled up with like 4 people in it (2 were hiding in the back), and the female driver asked us if "we needed anything". We were a little confused at what she wanted so we approached the van and she wanted to tell us about HIV and if we had any sexual questions for her... we could have taken it way out of hand, but we simply said no. She then gave us a bunch of condoms and a bag of food each... really random but we were hungry so it was good. I guess they go around looking for homeless people and hook them up or something.

We got 2 photos at that spot then we walked around looking for a rail or a set of stairs... until we found a nice 7 set with a couple of rails. It was in this really nice apartment area with a nice sunset view, here is a photo I took of Jordan Repin ollieing the set:

Jordan had hurt his hip a few days before, and it was really bugging him so he didn't want to try anything else. He wanted to go over the rail but his hip kept syking him out... so we'll go back soon.

While I was taking pictures at that spot I noticed a guy with a camera watching, I didn't take much notice of him at first, but then when me and Jordan were done shooting he came up to us and introduced himself and said he said he was trying to take a photo of me taking photos and gave me his business card. You can check out his website at Brian Noppe Photography. He was super friendly and was stoked on us shooting photos, and it was nice to meet him!

Then this morning I went down to Futureshop on Broadway because they have messed up my bill big time and they are charging me for stuff I shouldn't be paying... this has been going on since September, and frankly I'm getting sick of going back every month just to find out they haven't fixed my bill yet. She said it should be fixed this time, and that I'll have to wait 2 billing cycles (2 months), so I guess I'll find out soon.

Brian's took photos of our first rave here in Whistler in '97. Great shots and we've been friends ever since. He pointed me your way, and WOW, great skate shots and... I love nature too. Keep it up. I'll keep my eyes open for MORE!
