Almost There Sun, Jan 25th, 2009
I've had a cast on since January 8th and it's getting really annoying... hard to shower, takes 10 minutes to make a sandwich, can't wear pullover sweaters, have to wear my jacket hanging over my arm so it gets cold fast, have to type with one finger, and so on. I go back in to the hospital on Thursday to get it checked out, so hopefully the cast comes off that day too. It used to be really swollen, one day it was like twice the size of my other arm, and painful of course... but that's where the prescribed t3's kick in! Erin is moving back in on Thursday too, so it will be TJ, Erin, and myself living here... stoked! I think I'm gonna shave my head again, I liked it better when it was short. TJ hurt his tailbone last night at Grouse coming off a box, I'm sure he'll be back in action soon though... and I can't wait until I can get up there and snap some photos! 3 weeks without being able to take photos is killing me.

I met up with JF Lessard and Nic Cote yesterday, they shredded some plaza, then we showed Nic around... we went to Hastings Bowl and Leeside, fun fun fun! Adam Dufour showed up with his girlfriend for a bit too. JF and Nic showed me the ULC catalog, I had two photos published in it (backside of the cover and the back cover), soooooooo stoked! I checked out the newest SBC and Colour, I love seeing what the Canadians are up to. Then JF, his girlfriend, Nic, and myself went out for dinner to the Yaletown Brewery, really nice restaurant! I got myself the Shanghai Ginger Beef, came with rice and red/green peppers, it was super spicy, but awesome! They have good beer too! It was nice to meet Nic. After that I parted ways with them and chilled out with Jarek for a bit at his place and watched Satori Movement, chill time. On the way home from his place people were leaving the BC Place from the Lil Wayne concert... chaos in the streets. So many people, it was crazy. TJ is at work (Sportchek) right now, and I'm bored out of my mind, so I thought it was due time for a blog post. Weather is amazing outside, nice and sunny and I can finally see the mountains... but not much I can do with that right now...
