Just got back from the Okanagan. I went with Tyler Holm, Kyu Tae Kim, Ben Greengrove, Ryan Smith, and Clayton Uhlig from Friday until Tuesday. We met up with their buddies to skate, drank lots, cooked up the barbeque with steaks/corn, went to the strip club for Kyu's 22nd birthday, went wakeboarding for the first time at their buddy Matt's house, and Tyler and Ryan somehow managed to flip a sail boat at 5am. Their buddies Clayton and Tyler (different people) had the sickest mini ramp in their yard, so we skated that enough. It was my first time to the area, so every skatepark there amazed me... we went to Merritt, Armstrong, Polson, Ben Lee, Kamloops, and Coldstream. There was a contest at Armstrong on Saturday, it was pouring rain out and they decided to keep the contest going with best trick contests on different obstacles. I took some photos, but half the time my camera bag was stuffed deep in the trunk, so I couldn't capture everything. Here's what I got:

I got a photo ran in the latest Concrete issue 101. Chad Dickson is on the cover doing a massive switch ollie, glad he's back in full force again (he got hit by an SUV a while back). It's Tyler's first published photo too, so I'm stoked!

I'm back in Vancouver now from the two week cruise to Alaska and back. Sorry for not updating for two weeks, I didn't have Internet at all, or even a computer. Buffets, casino, happy hour (2 for 1 drinks), 24/7 room service, shows, glaciers, mountains, whales, bears... everything was amazing! Also came back with 5L of rum for 10 bucks! We went from Vancouver to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, College Fjord, Seward, Haines, we also went on a train ride to Fraser, BC, then we turned around and came back through all of those towns again. We went ziplining over old mines, saw a lumberjack show, and a whole lot more, but I don't want to list everything I did, so here is some photos I took (didn't take any at the ports, also only had a 50mm with me, so bare with it):
