It was perfect weather yesterday, so JF called in sick and we went on a skateboard adventure. My roommate Jess met up with us downtown and we went looking for spots. Here is a sweet maneuver from JF:

Then we got some food and some old lady with a walker thought JF's french accent was quote "romantic" and asked him for a hug... and he gave her one. After that loving moment we went to this manny pad near JF's place, but he wasn't able to perform his trickery there... :(
We found this ledge near it as well, but we gotta go back with some more wax, so stay tuned for that.

I made a post on Craigslist two nights ago to sell my old camera since I got the new one, and in the morning I got a reply, so I called him back and he came over to check it out and bought it right then and there, sweet... thanks Craigslist. I sold it with two older lenses that I wanted to get rid of so I went to the camera store today to pick out a new one (researched ahead of time in the internet world), so I decided to buy the Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM... stoked.
Headed down to plaza after that, met up with Adam Hopkins, Sam Hampton, and Giver, then went exploring downtown, took some shots, ran into the set for a Buick commercial, saw some dude running around with the Canucks mascot outfit on, saw some g'd out rides, ran into some guy with the same camera/lens as me, he was stoked
Then we were going to head down to Hastings skatepark, but we changed our minds and went to Bonsor instead, the sun was just about gone by the time we got there, and once I had my flashes and camera setup it was pretty much a pitch black sesh (aka blind your friends in the eyes), focusing in the dark is gay so I didn't really get any shots there, but I'll post up one of Adam that kind of turned out ok

Went to plaza yesterday to skate for a bit, and fell in a puddle haha, then a bunch of us headed over to Leeside because they had never been before. Ran into some funny characters on the bus ride there, the type of people who give you their life story and it's obviously bullshit. It was cloudy and getting dark, and Leeside is under a bridge so we skated it while we could, and I got a shot of JF Lessard:

It's been rainy the past few days so I was glad the sun came out today, it'd better stick around. I went to bed late last night thinking "screw it, i'll sleep in", turns out there's a music festival or something on my road blaring their lion king type music that woke me up, great.
Went to Leeside yesterday with Giver, and he bummed his leg out with a powerslide on the quarter, so we grabbed some Mcdonalds and headed over to AntiSocial to meet up with Mikey [Klinkhamer]. They had a quick sesh there as I watched and then we went on a journey to find some spots.
We found some sweet full-pipes ranging in size with no security, so we eyed out the big ones.

Went to SFU to skate yesterday, first time ever being there... the place is huge, but we got kicked out of everywhere, even by students... so we ended up skating the underground parking lot, here's a photo I got:

Went to third beach after the jam to have a some beers after a long day in the sun and good skateboarding, got home pretty late, and I woke up at 9am somehow... so Bons was necessary. Livestock Block Party was going on yesterday so I went down to check it out, and as expected... lots of people and mini-ramp awesomeness
I took the flashes out for the first time yesterday to shoot some skateboarding!
